KNM Group of Institutions at Mavila, Kanjiramkulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala was established in 2005 with a clear mission: To deliver accessible, outcome-driven education that transforms students into confident graduates and responsible citizens.
Founded under the leadership of M. R. Reghuchandra Bal (Former Minister, Government of Kerala), the institution was envisioned as a community-first campus inspired by his father’s legacy as a social worker and former MLA—a life dedicated to public service and educational upliftment. This vision continues to guide our focus on discipline, mentorship, employability, and teacher readiness.
Today, KNM offers a multi-stream academic ecosystem—Arts & Science, B.Ed, and TTC—aligned to the standards and academic framework of the University of Kerala.

M. R. Reghuchandrabal (1950-2025) was a public leader known for his grassroots engagement in Thiruvananthapuram district and his commitment to community development through education.
He served as a Member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly representing Kovalam and Parassala , and held ministerial responsibility as Minister for Excise (1991-1995) in the Government of Kerala.
Beyond the legislative assembly, he also served as President of Kanjiramkulam Panchayat, reflecting a strong connection to local governance and community needs.
His educational vision was rooted in a practical belief: when education is made reachable, it becomes transformational. The institution was established to create opportunity for students—especially from the surrounding villages—through structured learning, mentoring, and a disciplined academic environment.

Kunjukrishnan Nadar Memorial B.Ed College, Mavila, is a self-financing affiliated institution of the University of Kerala, approved by NCTE and the Government of Kerala, offering quality teacher education in a peaceful, eco-friendly academic environment.
